Evidence Methodology — GRADE Ratings & Citation Verification
Hormonaly grades every clinical claim with GRADE methodology and verifies citations in two layers: retrieval-time grounding and post-generation checking. Browse how evidence grades A through D are assigned and what they mean for clinical decision-making.
What the grades mean
Grades A through D are the GRADE framework's certainty-of-evidence levels. Grade A (High certainty): further research is very unlikely to change confidence in the estimate of effect. Grade B (Moderate certainty): further research may change the estimate. Grade C (Low certainty): further research is likely to change the estimate. Grade D (Very low certainty): any estimate of effect is very uncertain; compounds whose evidence is limited to animal or laboratory studies are graded D. Grades are re-evaluated as the nightly evidence refresh ingests new literature.
