What applied AI for modern medicine means at Hormonaly
Applied AI is artificial intelligence put to work on a defined clinical or operational task, with known inputs, a reviewable output and a person accountable for the result. It is the opposite of a general-purpose chatbot asked to improvise medicine. At Hormonaly, applied AI means agents that answer clinical questions from graded evidence (the Helix API), draft prescriptions for a prescriber to review and sign (E-Prescribing Agents), and build courses that faculty approve before anyone learns from them (Perceptors LMS).
Modern medicine moves faster than any one clinician can read. New trials, regulatory actions and safety signals arrive every week, and the gap between what is published and what reaches the point of care keeps widening. Our work is to close that gap inside the workflows our customers already run, in English and Arabic.

Who it is for
Hormonaly is a services-led company. We work alongside healthcare and academic enterprises from the first AI pilot to everyday use, and our forward-deployed engineers help ship the first workflow. Our customers include health systems and digital-health teams building clinical applications, prescribers and compounding pharmacies, telehealth and longevity clinics, and medical schools, academies and training programs. Individual clinicians can use the Workspace free with an account.
How it works: GRADE-rated evidence with verified citations
Every product runs on one governed core, the Hormonaly Evidence Runtime. A clinical question goes in; specialized agents retrieve literature from PubMed and other biomedical databases, and the answer comes back graded with the GRADE framework, from A (high certainty) to D (very low certainty), with citations that trace each claim to a peer-reviewed source. Citations are checked twice: when evidence is retrieved and again after the answer is written. Before anything is released, it passes safety checkpoints for doses, citations, interactions and claim scope.
The record does not stand still. New research, FDA actions and trial updates are scanned nightly, and every protocol is re-audited at least weekly. Routine refreshes apply automatically; anything that would change clinical guidance waits for a physician's sign-off. Enterprise workloads run on HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant infrastructure, delivered with Canvas Medical, in our cloud, your VPC or on-premises.

Longevity science and medicine
Longevity medicine aims to extend healthspan, the years lived in good health, not only lifespan. Its tools are familiar ones used earlier and more deliberately: biomarkers that track metabolic, cardiovascular and hormonal health over time; attention to endocrine and metabolic aging, from declining sex hormones and thyroid changes to insulin resistance; and peptide and hormone protocols chosen against a patient's risks and goals.
Much of longevity science is still early. Many interventions are supported mainly by animal studies, short trials or surrogate biomarkers rather than outcomes in people, and some are used off-label or are not approved at all. That is why grading matters here more than anywhere. Hormonaly covers peptide, hormone, anabolic and longevity medicine with the same method as the rest of the record: each protocol carries its GRADE level, its references and its regulatory status, so a clinician can see how strong the evidence is before acting on it.

Helix API
License evidence-graded answers, protocols and safety checks over one REST API. Forward-deployed engineers help you ship the first workflow.
E-Prescribing Agents
Agents prepare each prescription with dosing, interaction screening and regulatory status attached. The prescriber reviews, signs and sends it through certified e-prescribing.
Perceptors LMS
Agents build courses from your source material. Faculty and clinical reviewers approve every lesson before it is published.
Built by clinicians and AI engineers. HIPAA and SOC 2 compliant enterprise infrastructure, delivered with Canvas Medical.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Hormonaly?
- Hormonaly builds applied agentic AI for modern medicine: evidence-based workflow agents for healthcare enterprises, built on Hormonaly's GRADE-rated evidence and deployed with in-house forward-deployed engineering, in English and Arabic.
- What is the Helix API?
- Helix is a GRADE-rated clinical evidence API. It returns evidence-graded answers, protocols and safety checks over one REST API, and forward-deployed engineers help you ship the first workflow.
- What do the e-prescribing agents do?
- Agents prepare each prescription with dosing, interaction screening and regulatory status attached. The prescriber reviews, signs and sends it through certified e-prescribing.
- What is Perceptors?
- Perceptors is an agentic learning management system for healthcare teams. Agents build courses from your source material, and faculty and clinical reviewers approve every lesson before it is published.
- What is applied AI in medicine?
- Applied AI is artificial intelligence put to work on a defined clinical or operational task, such as answering a clinical question from graded evidence, drafting a prescription for a prescriber to review, or building a course for faculty to approve. Each task has known inputs, a reviewable output and a person accountable for the result, which is what separates it from a general-purpose chatbot. - What is clinical decision support, and where does Hormonaly fit?
- Clinical decision support is any tool that gives clinicians relevant, timely information at the point of care to inform a decision. Hormonaly contributes the evidence: graded, cited answers and protocols that clinicians and the applications they use can draw on. It is an evidence synthesis platform, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, prescribe or make treatment decisions; the licensed clinician does. Trust center
- How is AI used in longevity medicine?
- Longevity medicine aims to extend healthspan, the years lived in good health. AI can help clinicians keep up with a fast-moving literature on biomarkers, endocrine and metabolic aging, and peptide and hormone protocols, and show how strong the evidence is for each. Much of that evidence is early, often from animal studies, short trials or surrogate markers, so Hormonaly grades every protocol and states its regulatory status rather than presenting it as settled. - How does Hormonaly grade the evidence behind an answer?
- With the GRADE framework, from A (high certainty: further research is very unlikely to change the estimate) to D (very low certainty: any estimate is very uncertain). Evidence limited to animal or laboratory studies is graded D. Citations are checked when evidence is retrieved and again after the answer is written, and grades are re-evaluated as new literature arrives. How Hormonaly grades evidence
- Does Hormonaly replace clinical judgment?
- No. Hormonaly supports licensed professionals. Agents draft prescriptions for prescriber review and signature; Hormonaly does not dispense medication, authorize prescriptions, or determine legality. Anything in the evidence record that would change clinical guidance is approved by a physician before it is published. Trust center
